The Silent Wife is a finely wrought, emotionally charged psychological thriller about a marriage in the throes of dissolution, a couple headed for catastrophe, concessions that can’t be made, and promises that won’t be kept.
This suspenseful novel takes on the theme of a marriage that is falling apart, and the emotional damage it does to the main players. What kind of stress might cause someone to make the decisions that these two make? It’s a chilling, relentless story that will keep you glued to the pages!
This is the first mainstream novel by author A.S.A. (Susan) Harrison. It has received many accolades and award nominations, and there’s even a movie in the works, to star Nicole Kidman.
Unfortunately, Harrison passed away before she could enjoy the success of her novel. Her life  was very colourful and full of unusual accomplishments. To learn more about her, you can read the Macleans magazine’s full obituary & also view the entire memorial which A.S.A. Harrison’s husband arranged after her death.
