Get Crankin' - put your computer in your toolbox!

Did you know that the Stratford Public Library has the ChiltonLibrary database of Auto Repair available online?  Many of you are familiar with the Chilton manuals that the library has carried for years.  This online database will allow Stratford Public Library cardholders to access these manuals from home, for free.
ChiltonLibrary provides exclusive photographs, diagnostics designed by instructors, step-by-step repair procedures, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) maintenance schedules, wiring diagrams, recalls and Technical Service Bulletins (TSBs) for automobiles and light trucks in one easy-to-use web site. Since our library has access to ChiltonLibrary, you are now equipped with decades of data to maintain your vehicle.
To use the site, click the link above and select the ChiltonLibrary database.  You will be prompted to enter your library card number.  Once you are at the main page, just begin by choosing the year, make and model of your vehicle.  If you have any questions or want a lesson searching Chilton’s or any of our other databases, contact us online or stop by the Information Desk.
